We regretfully announce the passing of Jim Schuman. Jim was regarded by many as one of the best mechanics that Portland's service and repair industry had to offer. Due to health reasons Jim closed Autocraft NW in 2018, His career spanned almost 4 decades. During that time Jims accomplishments were vast, From building award winning hotrods and designing many complex mechanical and electrical prototypes to real-estate development and of course an established business owner. Jims aptitude for engineering combined with his passion for cars, gave him an edge in our industry, an edge that he didn't just keep for himself. He was instrumental in training numerous career technicians and had a positive impact on the local community for decades. He will be greatly missed by many!
